Josie is my doll. I like her a lot. I pretend that she is my little sister. I’m trying to spend my money on another Josie which is $42 so that they can be twins. I’m saving my money to try to get $42. I have saved $8 so far.

What will you name Josie's twin? Will the twin be a boy or a girl?

Hi Abby:

Josie is a very good friend to have. I know she has been a very good friend since you got her. I always try to remember Josie when I buy you presents. How did you find out that another Josie would cost $42.00?

Durff – I haven’t thought about if it’s going to be a boy or a girl but their names are going to both be Josie.

Aunt Martha – I found out it was $42 because I found it out on the Internet.

Hi Abby!

Your doll is beautiful. I love her name too. How did you choose her name? I had a doll when I was your age. It was a boy and his name was Baby Brian. I really loved him! I still have him. He is tucked away safely in a special chest where I keep things that mean a lot to me.

The reason I thought of Josie is because I went to Chinese Cultural School and one of my friends’ baby sister was named Josie. I was rubbing her head and then when we got back in the car I said, “This is Josie,” about my doll.

Hi Abby!!

This is a beautiful doll! And you look like the perfect mother!
When I was your age ( a loong time ago) I loved to play with my dolls, too (my mother didn't like Barbies so I had baby dolls all the time) and I took care of them like real babies XD

I hope you can find a sister or brother for your doll soon :-)

I am 23 and still have one of my dolls I got when I was 5! It means more to me than anything. Take good care of Josie now, because in several years you will be glad you did.

Abby,
I just started reading your blog - it is fun to read and I love all the pictures and video that you include. What else do you hope to do before school starts again in the fall? Do any of your friends have blogs? Do you leave comments on their blogs?

Abby, came here via your Dad's blog. I love how personal you've made these pages, makes being here as much fun as being on your Dad's blog!

As for Josie (wonderful name)- she's adorable. I hope to get the $34 required to get Josie a sister.

Anonymous - I always take good care of Josie.

Karen – I’m not sure about if any of my friends have blogs. My school is going to start on Monday so I probably won’t be able to do much because I only have the weekend and then I’ll go back to school.

Abby, my husband Bill and I have known your mom since she was about 4 or 5 years old. We lived in Indiana and Bill and your Grandpa Ray worked together at Sears! I got an e-mail today and it was something put together by your dad. I saw his name and I thought, "No, it couldn't be" so I Googled the name, and sure enough, it was him! I saw your blog with your picture and then I saw the picture of your mom! I was so surprised! I just watched your softball game. Great game! Hope you get a twin for Josie...I have twin granddaughters who are almost 3 years old. They are Hailey and Cassidy. Twins are just wonderful and I know you will enjoy yours when you get the other one. They have a brother almost as old as you, he is 6. His name is Mason.
I just wanted to tell you about how I found your blog. Your mom was such a cute, sweet little girl, and I know she is just as sweet and cute now! And, I am sure you are too! Have a wonderful life...

Why do you like those dolls? Are you going to make a family out of them and how long will it be until you have enough money?
