I played my first basketball game of the year today. Here's a movie.

Lexington Trip December 2008

I just went to Kentucky over Winter Break. I saw my Grandma, my Grandpa, my Uncle John, my Aunt Wendy and my Aunt Martha. We had to take two planes to get to Kentucky’s Bluegrass Airport. We checked into the hotel at midnight on Christmas Eve. It was really fun.

On Christmas day I got to open lots of presents. Here are some of the presents I got: a turtle Webkinz, a dolphin Webkinz, and a manatee Webkinz. The turtle’s name is Timothy, the manatee is named Mitch, and the dolphin is Tricks.

Before we went to Kentucky I also got a Mario Kart for my Wii. In Kentucky I visited Sitara. We went out to dinner at bd’s Mongolian Grill. We actually got to see them grill the food we picked out. After we went to bd’s Mongolian Grill we went to see the Christmas lights at the Horse Park. I also got to go over to Sitara’s house for a playdate. We played Webkinz and we had “silly time” and we went in Sitara’s tunnel that she had.

At my grandparent’s house I did these really fun puzzle books with my Grandma and I played cribbage with my Grandpa. I played Webkinz with my Aunt Martha, and with my Uncle John and Aunt Wendy I played Skip-Bo. I learned new games. Sitara taught me how to play Crazy Eights. My Aunt Martha taught me how to play Solitaire. My Uncle John taught me how to play 21. On our last full day there we went to see Dianne, Mark and Zack. Zack and I played Life and ate popcorn.

I am going to have a baby cousin in February. Her name is Mara. Her parents are Uncle John and Aunt Wendy. Thank you for reading this blog post and looking at my slide show. Happy New Year! Thanks again.

Dolphin Story

Playing Football in the Snow

Yesterday and today Austin, Travis, and I played football in the backyard. Travis and I were on a team and it was fun. Whenever we tried to catch the ball yesterday, it kept slipping out of our hands because it was snowing outside and the ball was frozen. Today the ball wasn’t frozen because we played with a nerf ball.

Halloween

This year for Halloween I was Supergirl. I went trick-or-treating with my friends, Sabrina, Shanley and Erin. Shanley and Sabrina were Cleopatra and Erin was a black cat. We had tamales and tacos for dinner. I tried a little bit of the tamale but I didn't like it. I had a taco instead. After trick-or-treating we traded candy. I got the Skittles and the Dots.

October 24, 2008

Today my Mom and I raked the leaves in our front yard. We raked a lot of leaves. We filled one trash can and two garbage bags. I had to stand in the trash can to crush the leaves so that we could fit more in. When we came in from raking the leaves we put a new quilt on my bed. The quilt is rainbow colors. Here are pictures of my room.






Then we had lunch. I had a quesadilla with cheese and black olives. I also had peaches. After lunch I played with my friend Dane. When Dane went home my Mom and I went for a walk.

Florida Day 5

I went to Sea World. I saw a dolphin and whale show. The dolphins and the whales jumped so high that their whole body was out of the water. Also at this show were people dressed in costumes and on bungee cords pretending to fly. After the show my Dad fed the dolphins and I tried to pet them. A trainer came over and helped get the dolphin over with a special whistle so I could pet it.

Then we saw a killer whale swimming around right up by the glass. Next we saw the Shamu show. The trainers had to train the whales to do all the cool stuff that the whales can do now. The killer whales jumped all the way out of the water. It was really fun because they got their body all the way up. There was a baby whale.

Before I went on the Whale Express roller coaster I got to climb on the nets. I could get up the nets all by myself this year. Then we went on the Whale Express roller coaster. It was really slow. It was fun because it was so slow. While I was climbing the nets my Grandma and Grandpa bought me a t-shirt with a killer whale on it. I like it.

Then we saw the penguins. Then we saw puffins with people in the tank cleaning it. Then we saw really big sea turtles. They were sleeping. Then we saw pearl divers. Last, we went home. It was a really good day.
