Cauliflower Popcorn

Hey Ms. Stephanie

Here is the recipe for Cauliflower Popcorn:

1 head cauliflower (or about 1 pound of precut cauliflower florets)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon salt

Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Cut out and discard the cauliflower core, and remove any thick stems from the cauliflower florets. Trim florets to the size of golf balls; combine in a large bowl with olive oil and salt. Toss to coat evenly. Spread cauliflower pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet, leaving a space between them (so they'll brown instead of steam). Place in oven. Roast for 1 hour, turning pieces every 15 minutes, until much of each floret has turned golden brown. (You can also roast earlier, and reheat in a 450 degree F oven for 10 minutes before serving. Serve immediately.

We changed this recipe just a little. We only used a sprinkle of salt instead of a whole tablespoon and we only ended up cooking the pieces for about 45 minutes.
