Self- Reliance Relflection

To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men,- that is genius.  I feel that you need to believe in yourself and you can achieve great things. If you have depression or anxiety or anything like that you can find a way. Find something that you enjoy doing and go after it that is all that really matters.

What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think. I feel that this one is very powerful to me because I don't take time to think about myself as much as I should. I am focused on what I can do for other people not myself. Being strong for them in a there time of need. When I am in a time of need I hate being the center of attention.

Nothing can bring you peace but yourself. I feel that you need to be able help yourself to help other people. You need to find your peace before you can help other people find theirs. Your health and your life comes first. You need to take care of yourself. You need to find the right balance for you. For me it is helping other people and making them feel happy and then I am happy.

I agree with your last quote and what you said about it. I also used this quote, and I said that I have spent a lot of time searching for something or someone to bring me happiness when all along it was within me.

I agree with the second paragraph. Myself included, I try to be there for other people. I don't want to be focused on me as much as other people. My job with friends is to help take care of them, and then they can help take care of me.

I agree with your last paragraph because I have noticed that sometimes people are more efficient and helpful when helping others when they are able to take care of themselves too. Sometimes it's just overwhelming to people when they try to help others through certain situations or whatever they may be struggling with when the helper themselves may be struggling with the issues in their lives.
