We are in Kentucky

We are in Kentucky! We came to Kentucky to see my grandparents and my aunt. My other aunt and uncle and cousin will be coming soon, too. We have a vet tech staying in our house with Annie. She says that they are doing fine. On the flight here I got to watch TV the whole way. There were little TVs in front of each person’s seat. It is very hot and humid here. Last night I got to see fireflies.

We had a KY visit in June.
I love the fireflies at dusk while the crickets chirp and I am on the swing in my Mama's front yard.

Catching fireflies is awesome! If you see a Shave Ice stand, you have to stop (and ask for extra syrup). Don't pass up any tomato you're offered, it will be delicious. And if someone asks if you want to swim, do it! You never know when you'll get relief from that humidity again!

Hi Abby,

I hope you have a great time in Kentucky! I have never seen fireflies...maybe you can take some pictures! Your dog, Annie, is so beautiful!

Hi Abby,

Hope you enjoy your Kentucky visit with your Grandparents. Visits from Grandchildren are always special to Grandparents because they don't have you around all the time. You must miss your dog Annie but you know she is being cared for by the vet tech. Fireflies are really neat if you catch them you can put them in a jar. But remember to release them after you are through watching them. Have a great time in Kentucky.

Hi Abby:

Gee, I'm in Kentucky too! I'm so glad I was able to come visit at the same time. Can't wait to see Uncle John, Aunt Wendy & Mara on Saturday.

Love,
Aunt Martha
