My Grandma
The airplane was really loud.I was so glad to get off the airplane I was in another place. I was there to see my sick grandma.
She was very ill. She was in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). It was scary to see her like that because all different tubes went into her and they were as loud as siren's zooming past. It was fun to see her to cheer her up but still it was not fun at all.
It was hard as a rock to keep going back to see my grandma because it seems that she was not getting better. It was hard because she was laying in a bed with all kinds of machines that will help her but it it is still scary because I love her and it is really really hard to see her like that.
But the bright side of this emergency trips is that I got to see my cousin and we sent a whole bunch of time together we played all sorts of games together. It was a good break to get my mind off of my grandma. I also played all the games that she liked and the only thing that I wish is that my grandma was there to see us have fun
I was very worried that my grandma would not get better but little by little she got better. I hope I get to see my grandma soon.
But know she is doing a lot better she is in a nursing home and eating regular foods again I am so happy for you grandma thanks for being there for me and you will aways be with me.

Wedding
I went to my Aunt Wendy and Uncle John's wedding in Ohio and I wore a dress. Also, I was a flower girl with their daughter. I had a lot of fun there. I spent a lot of time with Mara and her other two cousins. Here are some pictures and a short video of the wedding and the reception.

Bermuda
My assignment was to find 10 facts about Bermuda. I did some research online and then had a Skype conversation with Shannon James (who my Dad found through Twitter) and his wife. Here are my 10 facts and the video of my Skype conversation.
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. James.
- Bermuda was first settled in 1609 by shipwrecked English colonists headed for Virginia.
- It is about one-third the size of Washington, DC.
- The weather is mild and humid with strong winds common in winter.
- Bermuda can have hurricanes that are really devastating. They have had 2 really devastating ones in the last 30 years.
- They get all their water from the roofs of their houses when it rains. The water is stored in tanks until they need to use the water.
- They play lots of soccer and the girls play a sport that they call netball. It is like basketball without the backboard.
- They are only allowed to have one car per house.
- The mostly speak English (official) and 20 to 30% speak Portuguese and some speak a different language.
- They eat a lot of fresh fish. A favorite meal is fish cakes, potatoes and bananas.
- About 70,000 people live in Bermuda. Bermuda is about 24 miles long. Hamilton is the capital.
