Gotcha Day

It was our Gotcha Day on Saturday so we invited our China travel group over because it was their Gotcha Day, too. The group also got to meet Jimmy, Sabrina's little brother. There were 7 girls adopted in our travel group and 5 of them could come on Saturday. They were Sabrina, Shanley, Jianni, Katie and me. Caitlyn and Libby and their little sisters could not come. We all hope to see them soon. In the pictures, the older girl is Josie, Katie's older sister. Of course, the little boy is Jimmy, Sabrina's little brother. I felt happy to see the 5 girls that could make it.

My Best Friend Sabrina

My best friend Sabrina went to the Westlands Park with me on Monday afternoon. We had a blast climbing a rock wall that looked like a giant tree, exploring a two-story tree house and sliding on a zip line. This park has a lot of interesting equipment.

In addition to the park on Monday, on Wednesday, Sabrina and I had a sleepover at my house. We went out to dinner at Chili’s. I got a cheeseburger with fries and Sabrina got macaroni and cheese with cinnamon apples. After that we came home and Sabrina and I got into our pj’s. Next we watched a movie and then my mom read to us. Later we talked about stuff, we read to ourselves and last we fell asleep. In the morning we ate breakfast and played for a while.

Tomorrow we are going to see Honk at the Arvada Center for the Arts. Honk is a play that is about the ugly duckling story. It is a musical. I am excited to go with my family, Sabrina and her Nana.

Henry and Ian

Yesterday, I saw Henry and Ian. They are two year old twin boys. Their mom was in my Dad's math class a long time ago. Her name is Sarah. Her husband's name is Joe. Ian and Henry have a blog called The Dukes of Lawrence. I like to read it sometimes. They live in Lawrence, Kansas. I noticed that they were really very well behaved. It was hard to watch both of them because one of them would go out the door and the other one wouldn't. It must be hard for Sarah to take care of both of them by herself because if she has to help Henry do something then Ian has to wait. I want to see them again someday.

Having Fun This Summer

This summer I have been doing a lot of fun things. My Grandma and Grandpa were here for four weeks and they did most of the things with us.

We went to the zoo with Sabrina, Christy, Grandma, Grandpa and my mom. I fed the lorikeets. We had a cup and it had nectar in it and we fed it to the birds. When one was getting a drink, another one wanted to get a drink and he accidentally bit me.

We also went to the farm. At the farm there was a calf and two piglets. We also saw two cats in the farm house.

We went to the Bucksnort Saloon for lunch and on the way home we saw a beaver lodge.

I also played with my friend Sabrina at her house on July 4th. We first played in our swimming suits outside and we blew up water balloons and played catch. Then we played brother and sister and then we ate some steak for dinner. After dinner we watched High School Musical 3 until we got to see the fireworks.

One day Merrick and his mom came over to play. His mom worked with my mom at school. Here are some pictures of him sleeping and and laying on his stomach.

My friends are Dane, Sydney, Austin, Travis, Ian and Skylar. They live in my neighborhood. We play baseball, basketball, soccer, hide and go seek tag, and Wii. I play with them every day.

We also went to the Wildlife Experience and we saw Globeology. It is where you see places from all around the world. One night we went to Trail Dust Steakhouse for dinner and I went down the big slide that they have.

April 26, 2008

I played with my friends almost all day long in the afternoon. I played baseball, hockey and wallball. I played with Matt (Austin’s friend), Austin (lives next door to me), Travis is Austin’s brother, and I played with Dane and Cole and Ian, and Devin and Aiden (they’re brothers) and Skylar in the morning.
