I Went on a Trip to Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky

First I went to Ohio to see my Uncle John, Aunt Wendy and my cousin Mara. I got to hold and feed Mara. I also got to play with Mara and push her in the stroller. The first day we were there we had kabobs for dinner. Then the second day we went to see lots of different animals. We saw herons, a turtle, fish, ducks and beavers. Mara likes to look at lights in the living room and chew on the edge of her pacifier.










Next we went to West Virginia to see Aunt Martha. It was my first long car trip. We saw her friend Polly and we ate lunch at Tammy's Restaurant. Aunt Martha has 8 cats. I got to see Buddy, Brownie, Lefty, Susie, Piglet, PJ and Fuzzy. I did not see Missy though.



Next we went to Lexington, Kentucky to see my Grandma and Grandpa. We went to make pottery and we went to the Kentucky Horse Park. I got to pet the horses. One horse drooled a lot because he ate clover in the field. Grandma and I learned to do Sudoku puzzles together.




We also got to see our friends Sadhna, Michael and Sitara while we were in Lexington. I had a lot of fun on this trip.

Having Fun This Summer

This summer I have been doing a lot of fun things. My Grandma and Grandpa were here for four weeks and they did most of the things with us.

We went to the zoo with Sabrina, Christy, Grandma, Grandpa and my mom. I fed the lorikeets. We had a cup and it had nectar in it and we fed it to the birds. When one was getting a drink, another one wanted to get a drink and he accidentally bit me.




We also went to the farm. At the farm there was a calf and two piglets. We also saw two cats in the farm house.


We went to the Bucksnort Saloon for lunch and on the way home we saw a beaver lodge.



I also played with my friend Sabrina at her house on July 4th. We first played in our swimming suits outside and we blew up water balloons and played catch. Then we played brother and sister and then we ate some steak for dinner. After dinner we watched High School Musical 3 until we got to see the fireworks.




One day Merrick and his mom came over to play. His mom worked with my mom at school. Here are some pictures of him sleeping and and laying on his stomach.




My friends are Dane, Sydney, Austin, Travis, Ian and Skylar. They live in my neighborhood. We play baseball, basketball, soccer, hide and go seek tag, and Wii. I play with them every day.




We also went to the Wildlife Experience and we saw Globeology. It is where you see places from all around the world. One night we went to Trail Dust Steakhouse for dinner and I went down the big slide that they have.

Softball: June 13, 2009

This was my second softball game of the year (but the first time my parents remembered the camera and camcorder - ed.) and the first time I've pitched. Here are some pictures and a movie.

My First Sleepover

I had my first sleepover with my friend Skylar. It was really awesome at her house because her brother Ian had a sleepover also. We played lots of games. In the morning for breakfast I had cinnamon rolls. Then Skylar and I played in the snow. We had lunch together in my house. Then we played some more. Skylar is my next door neighbor. And that was my sleepover.

What I Did Today

Today I helped do chores. I washed the sinks, vacuumed, refilled the soap dispensers, and swept the kitchen floor. After I helped with chores I played Peanuts with my Dad and Mom. Peanuts is a game where you need two decks of cards, each person gets one deck, and you put down five cards that are face up. Then you put 12 cards face down and turn one up on top of that pile. And that’s your Peanuts pile. You’re supposed to get rid of that pile before the other person does by playing them Ace to King in the same suit in the center or on your own five piles red black red black etc. The other person is doing the same thing. Whoever says Peanuts first wins but the way my family sometimes plays is whenever somebody calls out Peanuts, whoever has played the most cards in the middle wins.

Orlando

I went to Orlando to see my Grandmother because she had a stroke in January. I also saw my Grandfather and Uncle Mike. We went to my Grandma’s CT scan on Monday. On Tuesday we went to Epcot for two hours and it was my Grandma’s first time since the stroke. She can do everything well but talk and remember. She talks okay but sometimes she doesn’t remember what she just said or uses the wrong words. She liked us visiting. She likes us to show her stuff and help her relearn some stuff. We went to a doctor appointment. It was her brain doctor. On the way home we went to the popcorn store and we went to a park. I really liked going to Orlando and seeing my Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Mike.
