Blowing Out the Candles on Skype

We went out to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes and when we got home we Skyped both of my grandma and grandpas so they could help my Mommy and Daddy sing happy birthday to me and watch me blow out the candles on my birthday cake.

CSAP Tomorrow

Tomorrow I’m taking the CSAP. I’m worried about taking the CSAP because I’m worried about what the CSAP booklet looks like, I’m worried about going outside the lines, and I’m worried I won’t stop when it tells me to. Ms. Marci and Ms. Elisha tell me I just have to do my best.

[Editor's Notes: 1) Mom and Dad did not prompt this, 2) Marci and Elisha have done a nice job about downplaying the test and not putting pressure on the students, 3) Mom and Dad have been downplaying the test since Abby started worrying about it in 2nd grade, saying the same thing - just do your best like you would at anything else, it's not a big deal.]

I Have a New Cousin

I have a new cousin named Mara. I got to see her on Skype today. I read her a story. It was her first story. She is 8 days old. I also talked to Grandma F, Uncle John and Aunt Wendy on Skype. I want to see Baby Mara in person so I can hold her.

Later I saw and talked to my Grandma and Grandpa S. and Uncle Mike on Skype. I also read them two stories.

Ms. MaKayla's Baby

Today it was my day of rest because yesterday I got back from my crew camping trip. It was good that it was my day of rest because I wouldn’t have gotten to see Ms. MaKayla’s baby. I went to school today with my Mom and I was the teacher’s helper. Then Ms. MaKayla came in to show everyone Merrick. Here are some pictures of me holding Merrick.
